Through Bethany House Emergency Shelter, Catholic Charities provides temporary housing, food, clothing and case management for families, single women and married couples seeking safe housing.
Residents may participate in programs that highlight: nutritional education, budget creation, cooking nutritious meals and more.
Case managers are available to assist with: completion of a GED, obtaining government assistance, registering for ID or a driver's license, enrolling children in school and are well-versed in other community resources.
Ryves Youth Center is a safe place for children to feel accepted, motivated and realize their full potential through programs that promote physical, educational and social development for children ages 3-17.
Ryves also houses an all-day preschool and TIME for Me Mentoring program
Youth may participate in programs such as: scouting, tutoring and homework help, Salsa Club, basketball, fun themed events and more!
Terre Haute Catholic Charities Foodbank collects, warehouses and distributes more than 3.8 million pounds of food annually to more than 90 soup kitchens, food pantries, senior centers, youth centers and other charitable agencies in 7 counties.
