1 in 8 people in west central Indiana, over 8,000 children, are food insecure. This means they lack consistent access to enough food to live an active and healthy lifestyle.

As a member of Feeding America, the largest domestic emergency food bank network, 
Terre Haute Catholic Charities Foodbank collects, warehouses and distributes more than 3.8 million pounds of food annually to soup kitchens, food pantries, senior centers, and other charitable agencies across 7 counties.
